Match Sumary:

Celtic fans must have feared this wouldn't be their night. Kyogo put the ball in the back of the net on three separate occasions, only to be adjudged offside for two of them and committed a foul on the third occasion. Celtic then thought they had found their breakthrough when Taylor was dragged down inside the box to earn them a penalty, only for Engels' tame spot-kick to be saved. The second half dwindled with neither side able to create any meaningful opportunities until Idah burst away from his defender before firing a shot towards Keller, whose save deflected off Benito and rolled into the back of the net. So, Celtic had just the one goal to show for their 2.16 XG, but it was a big one. Victory guarantees their place in the play-off round, with Young Boys still bottom of the table without a point.

Match Summary:

This was one of the greatest victory for Feyenoord as they maintained their place for playoffs. This wasn’t easy task for home side as they were getting harshly attacked by the visitors. Despite getting pressed, the host managed to score in just 21st minutes scored by Gimenez. Just when Bayern thought they were going into the break with only a one-goal deficit, Stengs was brought down by Guerreiro and a penalty was given to the home side. Gimenez added another to his and Feyenoord's tally as he stroked the ball into the upper left corner to make it 2-0. Kane missed another huge chance, so did Musiala, and Sane hit the post all within a short space of time. It looked as though it wouldn't be Bayern's night, and in the 89th minute, Ueda made sure of that. He latched onto a pass from Milambo and kept his composure to slot past Neuer to make it three. The game ended 3-0 to the home side, which perhaps isn't an accurate depiction of the game, but it was a perfectly executed plan from the home side, combined with some excellent goalkeeping by Bijlow.

Match Summary:

Seven matches into their Champions League campaign, Leipzig finally get three points on the board following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Sporting. Sesko opened the scoring in the first half when he converted Raum's cross before the latter had a goal disallowed later in the half for offside. Gyokeres pulled Sporting level with a fine run and finish into the roof of the net in the second period but parity only lasted three minutes as Poulsen finished off a neat Leipzig move to put the Bundesliga side back in front.

Late chances for Gyokeres and Inacio could have salvaged a point for the visitors but Leipzig held on to move themselves up to 30th in the league table. Leipzig travel to Sturm Graz on the final matchday, whilst Sporting host Bologna. The Portuguese side sit 19th in the table with 10 points and still in a good position to qualify for the knockout rounds.

Match Summary:

Shakhtar Donetsk recorded only their second win in this season's Champions League campaign after a very dominant display against the fairytale side of the competition so far, Brest.

From minute one, the hosts looked hungrier for the task in hand and set about attacking Brest's goal. The movement and fluidity of their front line caused endless problems for the French side, who succumbed to the pressure on 18 minutes as Brazilian forward, Kevin grabbed the opener.

Sudakov's second from a penalty sent the home side in at half-time in complete control. In the second half, Brest came out with more intent and aggression, but it could not be converted into clear chances and their hope soon fizzled out.

The closest they came was via a thundering free kick from Pereira-Lage, who saw his right-footed attempt tipped expertly round the post. Shakhtar nearly added a third in injury time as they broke free, but Traore somehow fluffed his lines and although it appeared his blushes were spared by Zubkov, he was adjudged to have been in an offside position as he tapped home the deflected effort. Shakhtar move onto seven points and up to 27th place. Brest remain on 13 points and in 11th spot.
