The incident happened in Magdeburg , Germany after saudi doctor intensely drove into crowds at a christmas market on friday causing the death of at least five including a kid aged 9 years old and leaving dozens of nijured.
The suspect was named as Talib by local media.
A scared witness said that he was travelling at upto 40 miles per hour when he first crashed into those at the market.
He reportedly drove through the market full of people at least 400 meters.
According to the official, The number of death could rise in the coming hours.
The suspect got arrested at 7 pm local time on Friday.
Talib was identified as a 50 year old saudi doctor who arrived in germany in 2006 as refugee.
It is being reported that he is an anti islam activist. He was living in the near town of Bernberg just over 30 minutes from Magdeburg.
He was alone in the attack thatswhy there was no further danger for the city. The motive of attack is still unclear. There was claimed that there is bomb in the car after the officials found the suspicious luggage in the car but later they found there was no any danger.
Witnesses said that the road was covered with blood as the doctors tried to the injured people.
The witness near to the incident said that “The car went through people and sent others going over it”
Medical services immediately set up tents for the injured victims.
All of hospitals near by the city preparing to treat the victims.
A special hotline was set up for the casualty for family and friends feared for their loved ones.
Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry said it was devastating incident and will stand with Germany and punished the suspect.
Armed polices were stationed all around the area.
